It's a Chevy!
Just a quick shot that I took while we were at the pumpkin patch. I know... you're supposed to take pictures of pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, aren't you? :) I took a few others and this is one of them.

Wordless Wednesday
Laugh out loud!
Camping last spring at a lake in Arkansas. My Monsters were determined to swim in the lake. Never mind that Dad and I told them that the water was pretty cold. Never mind that they forgot to pack their suites. Never mind that even our lab didn't want to swim that day.
The were going to swim - no matter what. So, what was a Mom to do - but let them learn on their own??
It was a bit colder than they thought. (LOL!) Someday, they may learn to listen to dear old Mom...

Macro Monday
Yesterday we visited our local pumpkin patch. I love that this pumpkin patch has different variety's of pumpkins. Loved the stripes of one of them (don't ask me what they're called, I just don't remember). Snapped this shot. Didn't come out as I hoped it would - maybe I should practice adding texture to it?

Pumpkin Patch time
Our town has an "old fashioned" pumpkin patch. They have an old truck, tractors, corn maze ~ all sorts of things to entertain kids for several hours. We have been taking my Monsters there since they were toddlers and can't imagine a Halloween with a trip there. Here's a few of my fav pics of the Monsters...

Taylor Swift time!
Last weekend K was invited to go to the Taylor Swift concert with her cheer squad. As an "assistant coach," she's the oldest on her squad so she wasn't really sure she wanted to go with "all the little girls." But one of the Dad's sprung for a private suite at Cowboys Stadium and all the parents chipped in for the limo ride. So K was "SO IN!"
Yes, that's right... a luxury suite and a limo ride. This kid will never want to scrounge change out of the bottom of her purse to score lawn tickets for her favorite band/group/singer. LOL... diva in the making. What will I do?
But she had a blast. And Mom and Dad enjoyed the evening with only one Monster instead of two.

My {Blurred} Shot
Finally!!! I finally found a home for all my "bad" shots.
You know...the ones where you are so excited that you forget that you can't jump up and down AND take the pictures of your son tackling that quarterback. Or that time that you nearly did your own back flip the first time your daughter landed her double back handspring - back pike (without a spot).
You know - THOSE shots?
I love, Love, LOVE this link up. (lol) Here's my shot. One of our camping trips last fall ~ K & M decided to stack some wood up and see how high they could hurdle. They ran out of wood before they ran out of energy :) I didn't really think about fixing any settings on the camera. And probably don't truly understand them any way. I simply set it on "sports" and figured I was good to go. I didn't get the shots that I wanted...exactly. But whatever...
There are much better "blurred" shots over here so be sure to check them out!
