Laugh out loud!
Camping last spring at a lake in Arkansas. My Monsters were determined to swim in the lake. Never mind that Dad and I told them that the water was pretty cold. Never mind that they forgot to pack their suites. Never mind that even our lab didn't want to swim that day.
The were going to swim - no matter what. So, what was a Mom to do - but let them learn on their own??
It was a bit colder than they thought. (LOL!) Someday, they may learn to listen to dear old Mom...

Oh, I love that picture - speaks a million words lol.
By the way - don't bank on them listening to you they usually have to learn it by themselves. I speak from experience lol.
